The Norwegian Morgan Club was founded in Monte Carlo February 1993. President since 2006 is Arild Brath. As of August 2009 we're counting 285 members representing approximately 80-85% of the 410 Morgans residing in Norway.
The Club's primary objective is to be a centre of social activities for the members, their family and anyone interested in the Morgan Sportscar. We arrange several gatherings, tours, scenic runs and parties such as our Annual Winter party in January, members meetings, the annual MOG arrangement (usually in May) and outdoor meetings.
Our magazine is called The Sliding Pillar and is distributed 3 times a year. Here you'll find reports from trips and parties, technical stuff, ads and everything you'll expect to find in a club magazine.
There are three local centres; SørMog in Kristiansand, RogMog in Rogaland (Stavanger area) and VestMog in Bergen. These areas all have their representatives on the board of directors.
Although currently dormant, we do have a racing group that seeks to inspire the members to enter their cars in both roadsport racing and rallies.
We also sell regalia, such as clothes, cufflinks and our famous hand made badge that can be had in either copper or Sterling silver. The silver badge comes with your special choice of car colour, background motif and colour and registration number.
